Osaka Battery Price in Pakistan 2026 – Updated Price List for All Models
Last, my UPS died. Not slowly, just dead overnight. Three years old, bought from Raja Market, cost me what felt like a lot at the time. Gone. So there I was, 45 degrees outside, fan not moving, laptop at 11%, googling prices on mobile data while sweating through my shirt.
That search was a mess. Half the sites showed 2023 prices. One had a chart with no year on it at all. I ended up calling my cousin, who lives near a battery shop in Faisalabad he texted me actual numbers in three minutes. This article is basically that phone call, but written down.
I replaced mine with an Osaka. Same brand as before, actually. Not because I am particularly loyal, I just asked two shopkeepers what they would put in their own house, and both said Osaka without hesitating.
Why Osaka Though
Pakistan Accumulators makes it. The local company has been around for decades. That matters more than the brand name itself. A battery engineered for Germany’s stable grid and mild summers is a different product than one designed around 8-hour load shedding and 45-degree heat. Osaka was designed here. That is the honest reason it holds up.
The other thing is dealers. I have found Osaka in places I did not expect — small cities, roadside shops, random markets. That reach matters at 11 pm when your battery swells and you cannot wait three days for shipping.

Get the Type Right First — People Mess This Up
This is where most bad purchases happen. Not a cheap battery. Wrong category.
Car batteries release one massive burst to crank the engine — that is their entire job. After that, the alternator runs everything, and the battery barely works. It seldom drains deeply. Put that same battery in a UPS, and it will drain deeply every single day. It was not built for that. Most people who complain that their battery “only lasted eight months” made this mistake.
UPS batteries do slow, steady discharge over hours. Built for that rhythm. Solar batteries are harder still — full discharge and full recharge every 24 hours, for years. That is why the tubular plate design exists. Thicker plates, different chemistry, yes, more expensive, but the only thing that actually holds up under daily solar cycling.
I had a solar installer once try to sell me a flat-plate battery to save money. I asked him what he used at his own house. Tubular. That ended the conversation.
Motorcycle batteries are small, cheap, and just match the Ah to your bike’s specs. Generator batteries need a specific starting current; Osaka’s 12GEN handles it. And if you are the kind of person who will forget to add distilled water every few months, most of us with the MF or DIN series is sealed and need nothing.

Why Prices Move Around
Two main culprits. Lead and summer.
Batteries are mostly lead. Lead comes in through imports. Dollar rate goes up, battery prices follow usually within weeks, sometimes faster. This has happened multiple times since 2022, and there is no reason to think it will stop. If you are buying right after a rupee drop, expect prices to be on the higher end.
Summer is the other one. Every May, the same pattern repeats: load shedding gets worse, people panic-buy UPS batteries all at once, and dealers see the demand and adjust accordingly. Not a conspiracy, just supply and demand. Buying in October or November usually means better prices for the identical product.
Also worth knowing, two shops on the same street can quote different prices for the same model. I have seen this in Lahore myself. The one with more competition prices more tightly. Call around before buying anything above Rs. 20,000. Takes five minutes and can save real money.

What I Would Actually Buy
Regular car, nothing fancy, S90ZR or S105R from the Light Series. Most cars in Pakistan run perfectly fine on these. No need to overbuy.
Home UPS with normal household load, IPS 1300 at Rs. 36,300 is the one I see most people happy with. Not the cheapest option, but not unreasonably priced either for what it does.
Solar system HT-1800 minimum. Rs. 35,000 sounds steep until you calculate replacing a Rs. 14,000 flat-plate battery every 12 months because it cannot handle daily deep cycling. The math actually favours tubular over 3 years.
Motorcycle Supreme 8 works for most bikes. Cheap enough that overthinking it wastes more time than the price difference is worth.
Genuinely cannot remember the last time you checked your battery water level — MF 100 R/L or MF 110 R/L. Sealed, done, forget about it.
One Warning Before You Pay
Fake Osaka batteries are a real thing in Pakistani markets. The casing looks right. The sticker looks right. The price is just slightly lower than it should be, and that is the giveaway. A genuine product does not sell below market rate consistently.
Before handing over money, ask for the warranty card. It needs a dealer stamp and a purchase date. Check for the hologram on the battery body. If the dealer seems annoyed by these questions or cannot produce the card, walk out. A counterfeit battery in a solar inverter does not just die — it can damage the inverter itself. Not worth saving Rs. 800.
Quick Answers
Cheapest Osaka battery available?
Super 4 for motorcycles Rs. 990. Bottom of the entire lineup.
Home UPS battery budget?
For normal household use, Rs. 33,000 to Rs. 40,000 covers the IPS series range. IPS 1300 at Rs. 36,300 is the most commonly bought.
Solar tubular — worth the price?
Yes, if your system runs daily. A Rs. 35,000 HT-1800 outlasts three or four cheaper flat-plate batteries in a solar setup. Do the math.
Which series needs zero maintenance?
MF Series and DIN Series. Fully sealed. Nothing to check, nothing to refill.
How long do Osaka batteries last?
Two to three years typically. Solar tubular batteries last longer when the system is correctly sized and not over-discharged daily.
Best model for home solar?
HT-1800 for most homes. HT-2500 if your system is larger. TA-2000 or TA-2500 for heavy setups.
How to spot a fake?
Hologram sticker on the battery, warranty card with dealer stamp, and a price that matches current market rates. Too cheap means something is wrong.
